Take a copy of Degree certifiate 
Note: Passout before 2003 please take Zerox copy of Degree ertificate on both side since hall ticket no: is required on degree certificate
- Write a letter stating require MOI certifiate for applying HSMP

Applying for PCC

PCC can be quite painful than you can imagine

There are two ways to apply for PCC if you already have a passport.
If your passport is less than 6 months old, you will be given PCC immediately without any police verification. Else, most of the time police verification at the current address will be performed.
If your current address is same as address on your passport, you can try to convince the passport officer to give it immediately. Else, they will do a police verification

1. Login to http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/welcomeLink
2. Create the application for PCC
3. Make payment and get your slot for appointment
4. Take necessary documents/proofs (Current address, Reason for PCC, Passport, Passport xerox)
5. Current address proof needs to be one of these only.
6. Be prepared to spend 4-5 hrs at the PSK
7. Addresses for the last 1 year will be asked and police verification will be done at all those places. You need to produce address proof of only your current address.

Easiest way is to get a letter from IG and carry it to passport office when your appointment is scheduled. No Police verification will be done and you will be given PCC immediately

Incorrect Address in PCC application

 I'm creating a forum for sharing the issues you have faced when you went to regional passport office. Please share your experiences through the comments below.

There is no proper information regarding PCC and related info and I thought I might share some info that might be of help for others.

Some general info:

Incorrect address on your PCC application can be quite painful. Make sure you give your current address correctly, otherwise you will end up making rounds around Passport Office.

Regional Passport Office in Andhra Pradesh is in Hyderabad, it is near Clock Tower, Secunderabad.

The Timings for entry are 9:30AM to 11:30AM. After which, the doors will be locked and no more people are allowed inside. If you have to go to RPO, make sure you go much in advance. I went around 8AM and there were already 200+ people before me.

Tips:
1. Take drinking water. There is no provision for drinking water
2. Be prepared to spend your entire day here. Snacks might be helpful.
3. 1pm to 2pm is lunch break and you are allowed to go out for lunch
4. If you are reaching after or around 11AM, you might as well take it easy and leave. You might end up waiting full day without any luck and having to come again next day.

I was told a fine of 5000Rs needs to be paid in case of incorrect address, but I didnt have to pay for PCC. Some of them had to pay 5k, but tts probably for incorrect address during application of your new or re-issue of passport. Have the money handy though, just in case.

Process in case of incorrect address is:
1. If the current address is in the same state, you need to mention it and they will re-send the
2. If the current address is in different state, you need to close the present file and  re-open a new one in the state you are presently residing in.

Time spent for closing the file at RPO hyderabad = 10 Hours. And its actually less than 1 min work. I'm not sure why some of these are
